Hubane SS24 runway show hits Cool Factor at VFiles NYFW Debut

The scene in Soho for the Hubane collection debut at New York Fashion Week captured the new generation of cool all decked out in streetwear. Hubane is a fashion label by designer Israel Yanir rooted in redefining wearable art. The brand is at the forefront of today’s fashion revolution, one that embraces the past, future, and now in an new avant-garde manner.

The models made a dramatic entry amidst the intimate crowd at VFILES towards the back of the catwalk with front rowers donning their most exotic footwear (thankfully tucked back), to make way for the larger-than-life looks from Hubane. From oversized coats to tailored elements with purposeful flair, and moody vibes in black to fluorescent pops, the overall aesthetic reads modern and cutting edge. The textured ornamentation featured on boots, sunglasses, and helmets was quite stunning and a memorable stand-out. Fashion Daily Mag backstage coverage captured footage of the pieces from inches away. 

To the delight of the fans swarming outside the models and designer exited the building and strutted the streets in quite a brilliant turn of events! The unisex collection showcased an impressive array of creatively styled hand-made ensembles and statement-making shoes and accessories. Hubane’s bold aesthetic—one that combines art, culture, and fashion into a single dynamic lifestyle, redefines the way garments are looked at as a whole. 

The concept of Vernum Dawn is integrated into Israel Yanir’s body of work and what he equates to, “the mental state one is in when they’ve decided to follow their passion and purpose.” The young designer is a recent graduate of Howard University and his NYFW debut was well orchestrated with the support of fashion, VFILES. The organization’s mission “to empower creative change-makers who can impact systemic change.” It couldn’t have been a better fit for introducing the label to fashion industry veterans and the media frenzy. YAY!
