International Fashion Comes to New York With hiTechMODA

The show brought established names together with emerging talent and independent designers, creating a diverse New York runway.

Runway Fashion With Global Style

From gowns with dramatic volume and sparkle to colorful dresses made to stand out, the collections offered plenty of fashion for special occasions and everyday dressing. Menswear was also well represented, with occasion looks and creative designs for everyday wear. With so many designers coming together, the runway had a wide range of styles and personalities, all bringing their own take on moda.

“hiTechMODA was built to democratize the runway. Season 14 brings together a community of creatives who are talented and represent the global future of fashion,” says Pamela Privette, founder and executive producer.

Designers Bringing Their Own Fashion Vision

The hiTechMODA show brought plenty to see, from glamorous evening looks and statement gowns to bold color, distinctive silhouettes and standout designs. Here is a look at some of the designers who took part, including Marc Defang, Alonso Maximo Couture, Justin Haynes, Paaie, and 12:48 Custom Suits, each bringing their own point of view to the New York runway.

Alonso Maximo Couture was a favorite, with sweeping gowns that made an impression. Special guest and CFDA designer Justin Haynes joined the show, while Marc Defang brought his signature “superunway” presence to the event.

International Designers Take Over New York

Led by Pamela Privette, hiTechMODA brings established designers, emerging talent and independent fashion names together on an international runway. The latest presentation filled the Edison Ballroom in Times Square with fashion designers representing North and South America, Asia, Europe, Africa and the Pacific Rim.

“New York is where fashion, creativity and ambition come together, and we are thrilled to be part of that energy once again,” Privette says. “New York Fashion Week is about the art of fashion and nothing else.”

Other designers featured in the two day event at NYFW included BEYOU BY SUSHMITA, Glamour Girl Boutique, Stacey Mitchell Designs, Mitch Desunia, Anagiamx, Kat Couture, Enhle Babes Couture, RasaNari, House of STL, Madame VIP and Shrijilmist.

I was there for Fashion Daily Mag to capture the runway and the energy of the fashion shows, which you can see in the reel below. With designers from around the world coming together at the Edison Ballroom, hiTechMODA delivered a lively celebration of fashion, creativity and independent design.
