MvVO ART SHOW 2026 Brings Contemporary Art to the Waldorf Astoria New York

Art, glamour and a little New York magic are coming together at the newly transformed Waldorf Astoria New York. MvVO ART SHOW 2026 will bring contemporary painting, photography, sculpture and mixed media to the hotel’s iconic Peacock Alley Corridor from September 21 through 27. The exhibition is presented by Maria van Vlodrop, Founder & CEO of MvVO ART, and this season is especially exciting for me, as I’m thrilled to be returning as one of the participating artists.

There’s something particularly fun about seeing contemporary art in a place as steeped in New York history as the Waldorf Astoria. The exhibition will unfold near the Park Avenue entrance and Guerlain Boutique, creating an unexpected art moment for hotel guests, New Yorkers and visitors from around the world.

The exhibition brings together a diverse group of contemporary artists, including Greg Kessler, Anna Hanna Schwartz, Bonnie Star, Hollye Davidson, Cassi Paguio, Grace Gerlach, Latoya Jones and Sonal Ambani, and Takamistsu Sakamoto and V.K.N.G Björgvin Jónsson among others. Together, the works offer a lively mix of perspectives, styles and mediums.

My work this season features behind-the-scenes photography from New York Fashion Week, capturing the energy and unexpected moments that happen away from the runway. A different way of experiencing fashion, and I love bringing those candid NYFW moments into a contemporary art setting. I’ll also be sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses from the exhibition as the week unfolds.

The collaboration brings together MvVO ART, Waldorf Astoria New York and Guerlain Wellness Spa, adding another layer to the week. Guerlain’s longstanding connection to art and creativity is reflected in select guided art experiences. Artists will also be showcased through the MvVO ART Artsy e-Gallery.

With Armory Week bringing its own creative energy to New York, it’s a fitting time for art lovers to discover new work, and perhaps discover a few new favorite artists along the way. MvVO ART has become known for placing contemporary art in some of New York’s most recognizable locations, and this latest chapter at the Waldorf feels like a very glamorous addition to that story.
