Tis so the season, and this year feels like even more festive! The lights are on for a Holiday in the city: and the Yorkville Nutcracker performance is about to go on! Set in 1895 at Gracie Mansion and other beloved New York Landmarks, the Yorkville Nutcracker in its 26th year.

Our choice to watch this season, the performance features young dancers dancing alongside professional artists from December 9 -11 at The Kaye Playhouse on E. 68th Street, New York.
Francis Patrelle’s Yorkville Nutcracker story surrounds New York’s most beloved landmarks, including a holiday party at Gracie Mansion, dancing at the Crystal Palace in the New York Botanical Garden, and skating in Central Park.
The Yorkville Nutcracker provides an opportunity for young dancers to dance alongside professional artists. Courtesy of New York City Ballet, Miriam Miller of New York City Ballet will be Sugarplum for the first time with Dances Patrelle, and Jared Angle will return as Cavalier. Also joining the company are Maximilien Baud (Billy Elliot national tour, Joffrey Ballet School) as the Snow King, Grace Pierce (A Chorus Line national tour) as the Snow Queen, and Reed Tankersley (Twyla Tharp Dance Company) as the Snow Prince.
