Tips from Abbie: Don’t be afraid to pivot. I went back to school to learn graphic design after a career in publishing. I wanted to monetize creating art which had always been a hobby. On the last day of the really rigorous design bootcamp I learned that I was the oldest person to ever graduate from the program! Plus, be kind to yourself! I’ve taken the same software design classes over and over again because I refused to fail, and now I’m pretty good at it. Abbie Park Linkedin @abbieartdesign AbbieParkDesign.com .

With my own experience as a female founder, I understand the importance of community, mentorship, and support. Meet Brigitte Segura, the visionary founder of FashionDailyMag, where luxury lifestyle meets creative expression. With an intuitive eye for beauty and a passion for empowering fellow female founders, Brigitte weaves together fashion, art, and aesthetics to craft exquisite visual narratives that reveal the soul of a brand. As a former young designer turned brand strategist, Brigitte Segura brings a unique perspective to her work. With over 20 years of experience as a creative solutionist, she now leverages her expertise to help emerging brands find their voice, refine their presence, and elevate their image. With a keen ability to distill the essence of a brand, Brigitte expertly amplifies its unique strengths, showcasing products, personalities, and companies in their most radiant light – elevating their image, igniting their presence, and unleashing their full potential. @brigitte_segura @fashiondailymag FashionDailyMag.com.

Brigitte tips: Believe in your authentic self! As a creator you can’t ask for everyone’s approval before creating. I mean, you’re the creator! Love your work and taste, believe in what you are doing, have a great work ethic and be your own critic – to a point. With social media so easy to access, it’s easy to put your idea out there and see if people like it. If they don’t, then adjust and try again. They may just not “get it”- yet.
