NYFW highlights: A fresh energy surrounded the few days of New York Fashion Week for the fall 2022 shows. This season, more ready to wear on the runway was ready to buy at select designers, from high end to streetwear one of a kind items. Though not everyone offered fashion ready to buy now, they considered what fashion we would wear now.  About time.

Lace, you say? Frederick Anderson’s fall 2022 parade of flirty and ruffled lace tops, dresses, pants and layering pieces were made to feel feminine without alot of frill.  Many of the pieces shown were sheer yet easy to layer.   Complimenting the sheers were chunky handknit sweaters in fabulous bright tones.  Textural play that made my day.   Nothing too too, but enough flirt to make me turn and say, “I love lace, I love lace, I really love lace.. in blue, black and white please..  “

Fun + Fabulous designer Cesar Galindo gave us a parade of wearable evening wear.  Cool Jackets with color and sequins, the Little Black Dress in a better version, and some easy to wear comfy fabric with drama ready for the night!  and Maybe a modern wedding? Love!  Here are a few faves.

VIetnamese Designer Phuc Tran flaunted a fluid, flowing collection of wearable pieces on the runway for fall 2022.  Sheer layers of chic in silky pants with layered details and dresses with movement in reds, blue steel and ink    Elegant, fluid, beautiful, and look comfy enough to wear.
