Summer of Contemporary Art: Hamptons edition

for the ART of it: Out East, living more colorfully… Beach days with a taste of Art while (Not) in the city.  From TheBridgehamptonMuseum’s Contemporary Art Fair to the Southampton Arts Center’s summer lineup of Art, multicolor eye candy in came in photo, paint, and sculpture.

Wearable Art, a hot new topic came to Sotheby’s featuring Louisa Guinness x Tiffany Dubin‘s massive and fabulous Art as Jewelry collection including works by the likes of Max Ernst, Bill Copley and Man Ray.  check out my collection faves here.

Hamptons Fashion Week’s fashion week mingled with a Streetartist Skott Marsi’s Contemporary Collection on the sculpture lined Catwalk at the Southampton Arts Center.  We found some colorful fish + hearts at Walter Sternleib gallery on our walk in town… On the shopping radar, Arte Collective fused Contemporary Art into the Torch’d x Fred Segal Fashion Week event with Jay Manuel’s book signing and singer Mickie James celebrating during day 2 of Hamptons Fashion Week 2021.
