Fashion Month includes womenswear, menswear and unisex fashion and everyone has access to view and comment on the topic thanks to social media. MENS FASHION 2024: The Cool in New York Menswear up close. Though seeing the latest and maybe the greatest fashion has to offer virtually is great, getting up close to see the fabric, the fit, the drape and the coolness of what a new designer is creating can be even more awesome.

Here’s what I saw at the fall 2024 collections at New York Mens Day up close and curated.

One of my favorite up and coming menswear designers at NYMD has been Terry Singh, and his major influence in using mens skirts in his collections. This season, Terry’s skirts got more jackets and items to got with it the look, as the designer expanded the collection to include longer jackets and items. One of my faves is the maxi off white lightweight coat over the maxi pleated skirt.

Another new fave is the innovative knitwear created at Bulan, a Unisex collection of forward fashion. Some major layering of textures, and this season, young designer Beam.ratchapol Ngaongam added more layers. Additionally, some of the yarns used were made out of recycled plastic. Check out the beautiful gown in lavender made from these recycled yarns. @bulannewyork. Other featured designers include ANDEROS NEW YORK who flaunted genderless fashion, Sivan menswear showing a collection of beautiful menswear in blue tones. Y.Chroma menswear, Pas Une Marque Menswear, Tarpley, and the Salting, with genderless fashion.
