RUNWAY goes SOCIALISTA for FASHION HOUSTON

CATCHING up: smart move, HOUSTON [yes, Texas]… and it SHOWs.  with a TRENDing of FASHION weeks popping up all over the world,  it’s no surprise Houston is on the RUNWAY map, attracting  some familiar NEW YORK fashion week designers, and why not… TEXAS ladies are a designer’s dream:  these charismatic southern belles have a sophisticated eye,  they can pick a dress, and have a fashion budget for purposeful occasions. written by brigitte segura.

NOT your ordinary off-site BLING parade, the four-day well-staged FASHION HOUSTON event sponsored by AUDI attracted the likes of  CFDA chou chou [sweetheart] BIBHU MOHAPATRA, the ever so charming CARMEN MARC VALVO, sassy Houston native CESAR GALINDO, MBFW fresh face + FDM fave NORMAN AMBROSE along with Douglas Hannant and Robert Rodriguez among some of the designers showing.
