EMERGING TALENT: SHUTING QIU fall 2021 collection shown during Milan Fashion Week.  For her FALL-WINTER  2021 Collection, designer Shuting Qiu’s modern romance bursts into a palette of neons.  Yellow, hot pink and electric blue dance against warm wintery greys and inked darks.

Prints, stripes and check patterns combine with faux fur and  jacquards.   A dip into outerwear, Shuting Qui added down jackets and jerseys knits adding a little comfy casual to the designer’s tailored pieces.

Shot in collaboration with Nowness and directed by Fanqing, WATER RIPPLES, SHUTING QIU’s Fall/Winter 2021 Collection Film, was shot in Hangzhou, Shuting’s hometown. Filmed during the Chinese New Year celebration, Qiu honors Chinese heritage while conversing on the reflective nature of the present times.
