Yass to color, colorful vibes and all that makes your world freakin’cheer! youngish designer KIDSUPER mashes up cheeky fun with bold patterns and graphics and wardrobe essentials.  The hi- energy KIDSUPER fall 2021 flavor was just as much fun as the last season or two.   Continuing and growing designer Colm Dillane’s vision, more ART PLAY was used for the fall 2021 season which included painted portraits + moving figure drawings.  The clever artwork in bright hues was placed in an artisanal nature on items including puffers,  jackets, pants, coats.

Continuing the  up cycled vibe of the original collections, menswear and patchwork were included in the collection this season as well.  Colm, who started his creative career selling T-shirts in his high school cafeteria before studying math at Uni, firmly believes that enthusiasm is contagious, and that whatever you do giving it the utmost enthusiasm will lead to people’s heart.

maintaining that philosophy, the super energized collection birthed in Brooklyn continues to be shown during Paris Fashion Week Men official calendar.   The designer’s originality and collaborative business nature has led to multiple collaborations, including a PUMA X KIDSUPER collab, a sweet collection including clothing, activewear and footwear at accessible prices. Yay.  I’m sporting a few KIDSUPER X PUMA items too, and so is my BF.   This is a good young designer story.

“I make clothes that I want to wear. I come up with ideas that I want to create. I always wanted to direct a short film. For this collection I made 7 short films around eccentric characters alive in this NYC world that I am inspired by every day. As for the clothes, they feature paintings/drawings of these NYC moments that continuously hearten me.” Colm Dillane
