A look at quite the spectacular: MAGNIFICENT JEWELS AND NOBLE JEWELS celebrating 20th century jewelry is coming to Sotheby’s ! The featured collection of world-class gemstones and diamonds, includes an emerald and diamond necklace by Cartier, featuring seven Colombian emeralds weighing a total of 169 carats (which once formed part of the collection of Her Highness Princess Salimah Aga Khan), and an emerald and diamond pendant/brooch with 5 cabochon emeralds from Colombia..
Here’s a little sneak peak of favorites from ART DECO & BEYOND: A CELEBRATION OF 20TH CENTURY JEWELLERY. On Exhibit in NYC early November, then to Geneva where the MAGNIFICENT JEWELS AND NOBLE JEWELS Auction will be held on November 13. Colombian emeralds, diamond earrings, more Sapphires, colorful diamonds, and a Tiara!
Highlights from the amazing collection presented alongside Cartier include the a richly decorative sapphire and diamond necklace by Bulgari, Arthur Rosenthal’s creations – under the name JAR, a diamond and rock crystal sautoir made by Chaumet in 1929, and magnificent pieces from Harry Winston.
