ermerging talent: CAAFD fall 2020 NYFW
This season, the Council of Aspiring American Fashion Designers (CAAFD) unveiled a group of emerging designers at NYFW. For the fall 2020 season, YUFASH, RUTH ZABETTA, and SANIA MSKATIYA flaunted their collections during New York Fashion Week at Pier 59 studios.
Here are some favorites looks and moments from the show:
YUFASH – Forward fashion: Estonian-born designer Kadri Klampe dresses confident women of the world, made in England and some designs are featured on the television series Scream Queens.
RUTH ZABETTA- designer Ruth Zabetta fuses both her Spanish and Dominican Republic heritage into unique pieces for a modern lifestyle.
SANIA MASKATIYA – Pakistan-based designer engages the finest craftsmen across Pakistan, ‘hailing from generations of artisans practicing time- honored craftsmanship and embroideries.’

CAAFD (Council of Aspiring American Fashion Designers) is a charitable organization founded through a collaborative effort by a few key pioneers in the fashion industry. Its primary goal is to back designers who aspire to do business in the United States by unlocking the tightrope, which in turn offers the opportunity for emerging talents to join the close-knit circle of the global fashion industry.
