Blush and ivory enhanced delicate chiffon pleated dresses and paisley prints were accented by black and gold, and skinny pants introduced baby sequined cropped jackets and vest blouses. There was a well-balanced mix between easy youthful dresses and chic tailored separates, keeping the ERIN feminine touch in check. Backstage, Erin commented how she ‘enjoyed balancing both draped and tailored design directions into one cohesive look’… pointing out the Portia jacket with chiffon sleeves paired with black stretch faille skinny pants as the strongest representations of her efforts to fuse draping with tailoring techniques, with cocoon shapes in details prevalent this season and an expanded use of silk crepe draping at the sleeves, keeping the silhouettes slim with a little extra girly drape.
