Catching up: Cult of Individuality Spring 2022 live show

Catwalk Vibes from NYC: Streetwear denim designer Ron Poisson and his Cult of Individuality put a gritty”ish” vibe on the HVMAN side of things with a fun live fashion show a couple of nights ago in NYC. Billed as the first runway show in nyc since the pandemic began, the message seemed appropriate to the moment.

The Leather, denim, and streetwear brand uses a smiley face with Xs instead of eyes and a distinctly not smiling bar for a mouth as a central motif. Sometimes surrounded by flames or wearing a crown it suggests a more chaotic and conflict filled future. Armor for the times: bold graphics and individualistic messages will protect you.

The show was a lot of fun and a nice kickoff to a new season 2022!
