Zuhair Murad Haute Couture Spring 2014
There’s major reasons why Zuhair Murad has a bevy of Hollywood beauties lining up to wear his gowns. From J.Lo to Kristen Stewart, this Lebanese designer not only makes breathtakingly beautiful gowns, he sculpts them like they’re made out of clay. That being said, the Zuhair Murad Haute Couture Spring 2014 collection was a highly-anticipated one. He actually closed out couture, and its a wonder he didn’t actually bring the house down…it was another super gorgeous set from beginning to end.
We’re talking fancy ensembles in the prettiest jewel tones, each delicately accented with gold leaf belts. Too stunning for words.
Of course, we need to first talk about the gowns. Pristine white and shimmering gold to the most lovely blue, peach, yellow and lavender…these shades are unbelievably beautiful. The pastels look like delicately decorated Easter eggs, the hues are so pale, so feminine.
The white bridal gown is enough to render you speechless. The long train, sweetheart neckline and floral embellishments have us itching for a May wedding. ‘Here comes the bride’ in the most spectacular wedding gown imaginable. To say we’re impressed with the dresses is an absolute understatement, but this designer also includes some really fantastic pant sets. Even a bodysuit here and there has us on our feet.
Honestly, it’s hard to top couture lines season after season, but this designer does. He’s one of the best, and rightly so. You’re transformed into actual royalty in these pieces. fdmLOVES ZUHAIR MURAD Haute Couture Spring 2014 selects by Brigitte Segura, written by Allison Ripa.
