YOUNG DESIGNERS: Namilia NYFW

Sporty Mermaids, flowers, and alot of sass.  Young designer Namilia gave us a dose of  ‘we don’t care we’re young creators’ during NYFW.   The Vfiles show held at Milk was a mash up of surfwear x evening wear with attitude, with embellished details giving us more than an eyeful of wit.

Looking closer:  what seems like a cute sparkled starfish pattern in mermaid inspired sheer silhouettes is really a graphic of bodies and faces superimposed and sweetly sparkled with sequins.   While masked babes sport active designer wear, their counterparts are wearing sheer mesh pieces with an overdose of red flowers in their silhouettes.
