TOM BRADY at GQ launch

Madison Ave received the red carpet treatment last night when part of the sidewalk at 58th was overtaken by the Ugg Men’s store opening. The face of the brand, Tom Brady, was present to help Ugg and GQ with the launch event. The new addition, a wing added to the women’s store, features industrial, sleek touches like sheet metal counters and glass book shelves. The line brand has experienced quite a shift since its mid-2000 days of mini skirts and it’s short fuzzy boots.

The men’s collection features Italian made boots with worn in touches, casual chukka boots, and neutral lace-ups with bright soles. The guests, some press mixed with UGG execs, sipped champagne, refreshing cucumber gimlets, and of course Sam Adams, the beer of choice for any New England Patriots fan. Tom charmed the room for 2 hours, speaking to everyone who approached him.
