THE BLONDS futuristic fall 2015 NYFW

Luxuriously deviant, inherently futuristic and other worldly Mod couture reminiscent of a Clockwork Orange, THE BLONDS fall 2015 wowed as usual during NYFW.  Sparkling crystal encrusted bodysuits with futuristic sentiments detailed with gold grommets, hanging chains, and floral appliqués were this season’s variety.  The decadence was topped off with big (+ fuzzy) jackets creating a cohesive, strong collection ready to dominate, speaking to their exclusive clientele like Paris Hilton (front row at the show) with fitted couture.

Continuing the tradition…  It’s not just a show, it’s an event at the BLONDS!  Every downtown photographer seems to show up especially to check out the front row flavor including Amanda LePore..  Wrapping up the milk season, The Blonds always delivers entertainment and fashion- the go to for us, energizing us when we’re not just exhausted by the freezing winds and snowstorms, running from show to show during the freeze at NYFW.

The unique pieces with utilitarian leather harnesses will have you singing in the rain- or maybe screaming in the rain.Phillipe Blonde was the first out, as usual, and two gorgeous models accompanied her to the sides. Leather accessories support the collection, with Christian Louboutin over-the-knee boots and harness purses setting the resplendent vibe. Bouffant top hair with sleek, lower back length extensions added to the edginess in a NWO sex kitten kind of way. Nail design by CND had a suede textured polish, and gold metal tip with hanging chains and beaded nails.

Makeup was impeccably muted with natural lip; shaded MAC makeup creating chiseled cheekbones, and strong eyes. The eyelids were painted white while thin black liquid eyeliner hugged the eyelashes and are pulled straight past edge of the eye, creating the perfect cat eye.  Yay to another Blonds pick me up with inspiring sparkled glamour.   THE BLONDS futuristic fall 2015 NYFW  selects + edits by Brigitte Segura, written by Roya Butler.
