ROBERT GELLER backstage spring 2015 menswear
Handsome and hip with purposeful shaping and clever cuts at Robert Geller SS15. Modern in both style and swagger, this line is forward and fresh but with a naturally casual vibe. Fully stocked with strapping young lads, the casting was spot on with favorites including Baptiste Radufe, Alexander Ferrario, Guerrino Santulliana, Dima Dionesov, Benjamin Jarvis, Andre Bona and Paul Boche. Check out some of the backstage hellos here.
A sophisticated stride in classics adjusted for fit, tastefully tailored elements added interest with hems that hit mid-calf and just below the knee. Minimalist pieces were layered with equally pared down wardrobe staples. On the flip side, a number of sporty looks filled out the assortment of cool, to include sweatshirt material, zippered highlights and more lounge-like moments with draped drawers and tunic length tops. The tonal coloring from head to toe lent a seriousness to the statement, while paint brushed prints added playful pops. A mix of fascinating fabrications and smart detailing made for ensembles with an imaginative appeal. fdmLOVES Robert Geller ss15 selects by Brigitte Segura, written by Sarah Freiseis.
