Reem Acra Fall 2013 MBFW

Loveliness at its Best! Reem Acra showed the splendor of Japan in her recent Fall 2013 collection shown during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. The collection was mostly dark hues with a burst of red. Acra’s popularity with Hollywood starlets in the past few awards seasons have made her a red carpet regular… and  seen admiring the brilliance this season was Catherine Heigl sitting front row at NYFW.

When the first model strutted out, we were smitten by the amazing color and detail of the red embroidery on a little black dress. As the show progressed beautifully with a sequence of grey, white, and black silhouettes with touches of color paraded into sheer ball gowns that Reem Acra is known for.  One of the most striking looks was a layered gown with a sheer top covered with embroidery.

Each look was polished with hair in a chignon, a matte red lip and a elegantly simple eye. We loved the forward styled first few looks again, and the finale couple of gowns- we can say,  how gorgeous.   Reem Acra fall 2013 by Brigitte Segura,  Written by P.A. Taghi.
