Red Carpet Raves + Celeb Spotting at Golden Globe Awards 2013

The 70th Annual Golden Globes doled out well deserved accolades before a crowd of well-dressed motion picture powerhouses at The Beverly Hilton Hotel. For many, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s annual awards ceremony is about so much more than movie magic and turning on the T.V., it’s about the glitz and glam that comes with the drama! We’re giving out our own nods to some of the star filled style moments.

The Brit Pack – what we’re calling the group of UK’s notables supporting their own by stepping out in Burberry.   Award winner Damian Lewis paved the path winning Best Actor in a TV Drama for Homeland beating out big names: Jon Hamm, Bryan Cranston, Jeff Daniels, and Steve Buscemi. He dressed the part in a black satin notch lapel tuxedo and black patent leather dress shoes, all by the iconic label.

Other  actors wearing Burberry include: Orlando Bloom in an ink satin notch lapel tuxedo with dark wine leather dress shoes, Hugh Dancy wearing a black grosgrain notch lapel tuxedo with black silk pocket square, and Dev Patel also in grosgrain notch lapel tuxedo but with a grosgrain bow tie, as well as Aaron Paul. The feminine embodiment was Golden Globe Award winning British singer Adele wearing a silk georgette evening gown with hand-beaded neckline.

Hot style standouts worth mentioning – doesn’t just apply to the big picture, sometimes it’s all about the details. Nicole Richie added dimension in Elahn Jewelry, donning a 14K Gold and Diamond Ring by mother daughter design team collaborative line by Leora Talmor + mom Elahn. Helen McCrory [with Damian Lewis] in a stunning grey gown carried a shiny LULU Guinness lips bag for a touch of subtle sass. Kate Hudson’s do was beautifully styles for a casual coif. Celebrity hairstylist David Babaii for IT&LY achieved the look. Layering style and racking up fashionista points from top to toe nail.

As the official champagne Moet & Chandon, the 22-year sponsor for the event provided aplenty for celebs with first class sipping for the evening. Moments to remember — George Clooney with host Amy Poehler drinking bubbly while canoodling for a skit.

And let’s not forget the Harvey Weinstein Golden Globes after party packed with Hollywood’s most famous faces like Jodie Foster stopping by to celebrate her win. No better way to show off your fabulous self than to keep the party going well into the night. Cheers to kicking off yet another fashion filled awards season! Written by Sarah A. Freiseis.
