READING beauty better in 2018
ALL about the fine print: you know what I’m talking about – the miniscule copy on skincare and makeup packaging. After having a reaction to a doctor perscribed skincare regime a couple of years ago, I’m now obsessively reading the fine print to see if there are any ingredients that I’m sensitive to. But have you noticed, the print is even more tiny? I can’t even read the instructions half the time; the obvious answer- I need reading glasses.
Not to sound all too fancy, and though they may work, the drugstore specials look pretty ‘granny’. So if you have borrowed your mom’s glasses all this time (like me) and can never find the ‘cheaters’ when trying to read, here’s the solution: Readers.
Reading glasses + computer glasses galore, with at least 5+ pretty fashionable pairs, ranging from $20-109. Cute enough to be seen if you forgot them on – though in my case, everything is blurry once I’m not reading. The verdict? I found 3-4 pairs for the new year: Cute + fashionable including my favorite frame, aviators. They come in a nice weight that doesn’t feel like it will break in a minute. A couple are also computer screen friendly, with the tinted ones from Gunnar. You may just see me sporting them during fashion week – just to test out the looks.
