Philosophy Spring 2014
There’s nothing better than a line so serene you can almost float in it. The Philosophy Spring 2014 collection by designer Natalie Ratabesi is pure bliss. The pastel color palette of all whites, baby pinks and pistachio greens are like the shades of delicious ice cream cones. Confectionary sweetness. Watch as these looks simply flow and sway on these models with such finesse. There’s positively not enough great words to describe this collection. It’s truly one for the memory banks.
Feel that chill vibe in wispy skirts and those gorgeous empire-waist sundresses. Lime green is positively divine on a long evening gown. Absolutely striking. An all-white coat and skirt ensemble looks adorable with a matching cropped top and long skinny tie. That style in particular will be flying off the racks in an instant. There were obvious nods to the 90s in silhouettes , something that resonates strongly with the brand. This designer was taking this collection back to its roots. Feel that inevitable sense of calm…like taking in a breath on a crisp morning.
There were hints of loungewear, so comfortable that they would easily send you drifting off to sleep. The button downs and wide legged trousers were nods to 70s daywear chicness. We can gush forever. This was definitely a standout line worth all the attention. Plus, the all-white backdrop fully accented the cool atmosphere. Dreamy love. fdmLOVES PHILOSOPHY spring 2014 selects by Brigitte Segura, written by Allison Ripa.
