Philipp Plein Menswear Fall 2014
Philipp Plein knows how to put on a spectacle. The all-black, all-leather all manly man Menswear Fall 2014 runway show was a memorable one. Speaking of the guys, some of our favorites appeared in this show too. We’re talking to you, Baptiste Radufe, Arthur Gosse and Clement Chabernaud. The ‘Noir Cowboy’ theme was fully represented in cowboy hats, fringe and even horse saddles.
Yes, some of the guys clutched them as they strutted their stuff. With a special performance by rapper Angel Haze during the show (and a mechanical bull and rider present) there was nothing to forget about this one.
Every look channels Johnny Cash, the original ‘Man In Black’ himself. There’s black jeans and leather everywhere you look, along with some pretty fantastic footwear. A coat with leather sleeves and pockets definitely comes to mind…so handsome and fresh. Guys in jackets, guys in sweaters and guys wearing nothing on top at all! And it’s not all dark though, there’s some pretty devilish red looks in plaid and skull prints too (Plein’s trademark.) Fuzzy hoods have us itching for a wintertime getaway. And make sure your guy’s wearing these duds. We absolutely love it.
Fringe out of style? Never! Not with how it’s incorporated here. Guys will be grabbing everything. Moody, sexy and most definitely masculine, here’s a set men will gladly wear. fdmLOVES PHILIPP PLEIN Menswear Fall 2014 selects by Brigitte Segura, written by Allison Ripa.
