PATUNA: A lady in black, a lady in lavender. Dark feminine meets flowy, drapy, and mysterious. Inspired by Monet’s Art, the collection shown during Paris Couture Fashion Week consists primarily of hand painted silk and organza incorporating shapes and looks that “flow like the Seine and Giverny Pond.”
Touches of complex draping are reminiscent of the tree branches along the Giverny pond and paths, nodding lightly to arch forms from the Alexander III Bridge and Monet’s garden walkway + the pond bridge, with lines in the collection imitating his garden walkway.
