ONE direction goes GLAMOUR

Celebrating summer music season, boy band ONE DIRECTION goes fashion and takes a cover shot. The guys hang out with fellow Brit model-actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for the August-issue cover shoot. In the midst a world tour and with a new documentary This Is Us due out in August, the five boys chat about romance, why they’re not the typical boy band, and what it was like to shoot the cover with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

One Direction and Rosie appear on two covers for the Glamour Music Issue, which hits newsstands July 9. Here’s a peek, and a few words from the boys…

GLAMOUR: Is it that you can’t dance, or you won’t dance?
LIAM: A bit of both, actually. We look stupid dancing. That’s what I think.

GL: You also didn’t try to present yourselves as perfect.
LIAM: I don’t think we’ve ever tried to be squeaky-clean. Nobody’s perfect.
HARRY: The thing is, when you’re playing a part, eventually it goes wrong. Eventually someone’s going to see that that’s not who you are. So it’s best to be yourself from the get-go.
