Nautica Spring 2014
It’s no secret that the Nautica shows are infused with the smell of cologne splashed men that engage a certain demographic of appreciation. The Black Sail Mens Spring Collection 2014 was all about the “modern waterman.” A fresh look for the long running standby as it was evident that the underlying mission remained to create stylishly functional active wear.
Guys have come to appreciate wearing practical pieces that complement their personality. There were pops of color and some blocking too, as well as neutral tones and monochromatic patterns. The models including Sean O’Pry, Ryan Kennedy and RJ Rojensky naturally carried the rugged and classic clothes with ease as they walked down the runway to a very attentive audience… I mean, look at them.
The label’s ability to combine practicality with aesthetics continues to be reliably appealing. fdmLOVES NAUTICA SPRING 2014 selects by Brigitte Segura, written by Lauren M. Watts.
