The body as a canvas and the decadence of the Indian maharajas of the past was the dominating influence behind Naeem Khan’s Autumn/Winter 2012 collection.  The concept of using the body as art is deeply rooted in Indian culture and Khan used this to his advantage creating gorgeous paisleys, intricate metallic embroidery and antiqued mirrored beading to jackets, chiffon halter gowns and skirts.
