MISSONI fw15 by Viviane Sassen
A play on varied surfaces mingle with trompe l’oeil for the MISSSONI fw15 ad campaign. Shot by Viviane Sassen, models Saskia De Brauw and Roch Barbot are captured against a backdrop of marbled patterns, stripes and geo shapes and studied asymmetries inspired by 80’s Postmodernist artist Richard Artschwager.
Highlighting the sophisticated and contemporary natural state of the Missoni woman for fall 2015, the collection encompasses knitted jacquards and featherlight printed jerseys that wrap the body and adorn the skin like a tattoo. Long dresses, pants, bodysuits and oversized jackets with straight and diagonal lines come in a variety of marbled streaks and solid colors.
For Missoni Mens, Tartan is in unexpected added pattern in jackets and suits that come to life, set against the marbled-stone backgrounds. The fw15 collection highlights the personality of the well-travelled elegance of the Missoni Man.
