MATHIEU MIRANO shine fw16

Shine on! Metallic loving at Mathieu Mirano fall 2016.   Going back to his colorful eveningwear bursts, young designer Mirano adds additional interest to fabrication this season.   An ombre effect peeks in metallics + crushed velvets, with a beautiful range of gradient  from gold to silver, blue to green and hot pink to sunny yellow.

Other details include studs on ribboned + bound fabrics adding the special effect interest to the meticulously cut dresses.  Sunset inspired tones prevail, with a batch of tortoises mingling in the sand under the models feet.. adding to the Sahara inspired effect.   MIRANO remains one our favorite NYFW young designers that keeps us coming back for more surprises each season.
