MARCEL OSTERTAG highlights NYFW

Flowing pales fused with some cute insect references at the New York Fashion Week. MARCEL OSTERTAG packed a houseful during his spring 2018 runway show, a confident move during ‘that’ Marc Jacobs show time frame. The German darling known for his flirty wit in designing everyday wearables is also super charming in person.

Though his details always lean more feminine, Ostertag isn’t afraid to flaunt a strong lean cut in his pieces – tailored and never over the top – but maybe worn with a little glittery boot?  That’s what makes him cool.  A Confident modern vibe in his clothes that’s believable because it’s evident that he knows this girl in real life, not fantasy.

A little tassel here, a hint of gold, a sheer number there… Marcel’s girl doesn’t have time to shop around for special things as a hobby. Though I liked the edited down runway show this time, this line still delivers a few things to love + keep the well-traveled girl happy.  I loved at least half the pieces I saw
