KIPLING x HELENA CHRISTENSEN launch

CATCHING up: Helena Christensen and Kipling hosted a fab nite full of flare launching their inaugural Fall’13 collection in New York on April 10, 2013. We hung out with a few more downtown fashionables at the Gramercy Park Hotel for a night of cocktails, and got there just in time before the Rooftop Terrace view of the sky turned suddenly dark.  DJ and designer Mia Morretti kept us happy with tunes during the sudden downpour while we checked out the first looks of Helena Christensen’s collection.

Inspired by the fabric of a life eclectically led, Christensen’s vision for the collaboration started with a snapshot taken of a pink rose during Spring. We chatted with the Downtown trendy crowd who came out in support, including designer Camilla Staerk, model Kenza Fournati, @60” co-founder Kipton Cronkite, actor Nickolaj Kaas, One Model Management founder Scott Lips, actress Sophia Lamar, and model Rose Smith.
