CURATED LUXURY LIFESTYLE FASHION ART and WELLNESS magazine NYC curating good vibes by BRIGITTE SEGURA

Jil Sander Spring 2014 MFW

There’s a relaxing air and vibe occurring in Jil Sander’s Spring 2014 collection shown during Milan Fashion Week. The cuts are crisp, the colors are tranquil. It’s also super wearable. Wild and crazy styles aside, this is a perfectly feminine set that doesn’t disappoint from start to finish. It’s a clean-cut, applause worthy assemblage that attracts a slew of unique fashionistas, pleasing them all. Not an easy feat, but this is Sander we’re talking about.

A romantic soft touch is seen in colors ranging from tan, white and pale yellow to navy, black and green. Attention is definitely drawn to the shoulders, whether they’re covered and rounded or left bare. Cropped cuts on tops feel like 21st century versions of 90s favorites. A really lovely one-button pale yellow coat could compete for ‘first place’ in this set. The fit is flawless. Pantsuits are giving an updated facelift with cropped midi length cuts. The dizzying combination of prints also moves us. We could go on forever with praises.

As for details, feathers on a long top and dress are as elaborate as they get. It’s a set for a no-fuss lady with impeccable taste. Cool, clean chic. All the basics with the right high fashion touch. Perfect. fdmLOVES JIL SANDER Spring 2014 selects by Brigitte Segura, written by Allison Ripa.
