HOUGHTON modern bride spring 2015
A modern view of bridal at HOUGHTON spring 2015 from up and coming designer Katharine Polk. Not your traditional fluffy bride, this collection has a fresh perspective for the special day. Inspired by 90’s style icons Kate Moss and Claudia Schiffer, the collection fuses a young attitude with beautiful fabrications in body conscious silhouettes.
Twists on the “special day” tradition include sequined pants with a silk georgette blouse, spaghetti straps in body conscious silhouettes, a column gown with a chantilly lace ruffled cape. Favorites include a short dress of white mesh with a hand painted french lace peplum, and a high low full Chantilly Lace gown over layers of gazar. Here’s an exclusive view of FashionDailyMag favorites captured by Janez Jeretic at the Houghton Bride Spring 2015 presentation.
“I am creating a Bridal collection for the woman who wants to get married in something simple, sexy and timeless,” explained Polk.
