Glam Fall 2014 NYFW highlights

Fall 2014 brought out all the best evening attire imaginable during NYFW. Here are some stunners we loved during the week of The Big Apple’s fashionable best. Favorite highlights include Erin Fetherston, Rubin Chapelle, CZAR by Cesar Galindo, Malan Breton, Angel Sanchez and Raul Penaranda.

Erin Fetherston showed an assortment of girly frocks during her presentation held at the W Hotel. Taking inspiration cues from 50s starlets like Grace Kelly, the dresses are flirty and the silhouettes are undoubtedly feminine. Florals shine the brightest, especially on short collared dresses. Adorable. Rubin Chapelle’s presentation featured sleek charmeuse dresses and a cute black and white cropped jumpsuit. Simple cuts that left a lasting impression.

CZAR by Cesar Galindo brought out the patterns with sexiness. Prints are eye-catching and tinged with exoticism. A skin-tight purple metallic dress shimmers in distressed glory while pants are of the skinny and flared persuasion. Plus, the added blue in the models’ hair makes for a funkadelic touch. Malan Breton took us to the Cabaret during his runway show. Extravagance included, this designer didn’t leave out his trademark silk suits. With a dark atmosphere similar to a nightclub, the spotlights shone brightly upon the formal wear stunners.

Angel Sanchez’s runway show had ‘edge’ written all over it. In this dark and utilitarian-inspired set, there’s lots of monochromatic shimmer and shine. Silver metallic accents and pops of skin make this assortment sexier than anything. There’s leather, chrome and a whole lot of cutting-edge silhouettes to keep any girl with a bite satisfied. As for the Raul Penaranda presentation, we were shown an assortment of gorgeous gold, black and royal blue gowns. These girls are the definition of stunning in a sea of metallics and sass. We’re obsessed over the flawlessness. ‘Girl envy’ for sure.
