CATCHING up: A potluck of celebrities stepped out at the Broadway premiere recently of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Tennessee Williams’ tale of a desperate Southern Belle. Scarlett Johansson plays the character Maggie in her sophomore Broadway Debut. Johansson’s character in the musical was once portrayed by remarkable leading ladies such Elizabeth Taylor, Kathleen Turner, and Jessica Lange. Johansson stepped out on the carpet in head to toe Dolce&Gabbana, from her intensified lashes and her lustrous lips to her black peaked heels. A perfect beauty inspiration for V-DAY, red pout and all.
Her ensemble consisted of a short sleeved, onyx-hued crochet linen button down, and black skinny trousers. Johansson’s makeup artist took an Old Hollywood approach on the starlet’s look, with a Passion Duo Gloss Fusion Lipstick in Tropical- a Bordeaux shaded red tone topped with the Sheer Shine Gloss in Aqua. Her beaming green eyes were defined with an Intense Khol pencil and her lashes were coated with the magnifying, Black Intensity mascara. Her skin was illuminated by Dolce &Gabbana’s liquid foundation and her apricot-dusted cheeks were compliments of the line’s Luminous Cheek Colors.
Johansson’s fellow cast member Emily Bergl, stunned in a crème and chartreuse floral embossed cut-out dress, with similar radiating make-up as her co-star. The women were not the only head-turning contenders; Nick Jonas and Matt Bomber wowed in their tailored slacks and jackets, each adding a personal twist to their threads. Both men took a nautical turn on their outfits: Jonas took to a striped, marine shaded tie, to anchor together his granite colored suit, while Bomber took a navy-seal approach, going for a midnight blue suit and matching tie, both men secured their outfits with chocolate shaded oxfords. The stars’ ensembles definitely shone as bright as their talent during the night of the premiere. get the BEAUTY LOOK: SCARLETT JOHANSSON Written by Julia Paulescu.
