CURATED LUXURY LIFESTYLE FASHION ART and WELLNESS magazine NYC curating good vibes by BRIGITTE SEGURA

General Idea Spring 2014

Menswear with attitude with a backdrop set for modern cool at General Idea Spring 2014. The Classic Car Club revved our engines just right with all the boys so nice – Ben Allen, Matthew Bell, and Alexander Ferrario were quite the charmers. We got a chance to get more chummy backstage and said hi to Baptiste Radufe while getting his sleek do pre-show. Outside, the attending crowd could have had their own runway show too, the fashionable vibe was intoxicating.

Korean designer Bumsuk Choi chose an ideal off-site venue for exposing his inspiration while keeping up appearances. Street and sleek meet for fashion with structured edge. Color-blocking was impactful, especially given the neutral shades against white and black. Sporty chic with mix and match pieces complimenting oversized elements and accents of silver detailing. Driving in style with bomber silhouettes that channeled the suave associated with affluent auto aficionados.

Styling by Jason Rider enhanced the visual – design is one thing, models another, it’s what ties it all together that gives us the ultimate pleasure.
