GENDERLESS fashion: PALOMO SPAIN ss18
From Southern Spain to Paris, genderless fashion makes an appearance in Paris. For the pre-spring 2018 collection, PALOMO SPAIN flaunts the deep-rooted spirit of Southern Spain and suburban London style to the Mona Bismarck American Center in Paris during Paris Fashion Week Mens.
Designer Alejandro Gomez Palomo fuses both masculine and feminine details for a genderless fabulous collection created for men.
Drawing inspiration from his Southern Spanish roots, hints of flamenco dancing are evident in the collection. Silhouettes of both masculine and feminine dress are expressed vividly in the couture-like designs.
Standouts include the chalkstripe and houndstooth pants and tux inspired soft styles. The polka dot bell bottom crops and flowing feminine pieces got our attention for sure. For this season, the collection fuses a feminine aesthetic in “a manly tradition” which makes the pieces even more unique and eye-capturing.
Palomo can be currently found in stock lists Opening Ceremony in NYC, LA, and Japan as well as Grapevine (Tokyo).
