FLYING SOLO sept 2018

A high energy twist of retail therapy on the runway.   FLYING SOLO soho presented wear now from young designers in the sept 2018 fashion show during NYFW.   A collaborative show indeed presenting over 60 looks on the runway, with all designers participating in the production of the show behind the scenes too.

The electric beat of the music and models walking in duos kept the fashion flavor swiftly interesting on the catwalk.  From shiny looks to textural layers for both women and men,  the no gender vibe was present with men walking the show in women’s dresses too.

What makes the show unique is that not only is FLYING SOLO a store to shop, but a store for stylists to pull and for young designers to sell directly to the public in a co-op hot store in SoHo.   Here are some highlights from the runway and backstage…
