FACE the healthy skin for fall-winter

FACE the glow friends: When your skin is Aah-mazing through the random temperature changes of early fall, you can breeze through any cold or hot situation every day.    I recently discovered a range of skincare that promises one thing only- healthy skin.   When I was first introduced to the EPIONCE range at a dermatologist event last month that covered new technologies in skin health, I remember asking, “but what does this product do? Anti-aging, wrinkle diminishing, brightening?!”

When the reply to me was ‘It helps get your skin healthy,’ I remember my confused reaction of (why) this product range exists.   I mean, I always thought if you use good products for your face and moisturize with anti-aging products or wrinkle diminishing products, your skin is more healthy and young looking, right?  So I kept asking myself, why would / should we invest in just a healthy skin product rather than a product that has some promised action associated.   Plus, I already have “good skin,” why would I target just healthy skin?

Then I thought about the idea of what modern beauty and skincare is about now.    Since going to the dermo for a more targetted professional anti-aging treatment such as botox, filler and laser is so common now,  soothing the skin after with a range of skincare that doesn’t cause irritation DOES make sense.    The idea that I wouldn’t have to go home and use the with the same un-inspiring drugstore samples in the basket at the Doc’s office did make me think, OK- this does have a purpose.

Still reluctant to believe in the powers of this system, I tried a bit of the my cream on my hand at first, and loved the texture enough to actually put some on my face just to get a feel.    It’s not greasy and feels whipped, yet super moisturizing without weighing my face down or pulling.  So I decided to go for it and try the whole range… Cleanser, serum, face cream, eye cream and barrier cream.  Though I have been told I have “good skin”, let’s just say I am glowing even more after 3 weeks of usage.    I can use these products on my face without compromising my skin tone or plumpness, whether it’s warm or cold – and most importantly, without worrying about my skin reactions after a dermo treatment.
