ELIE SAAB couture fw15
In a colorful palette of luminous pales, Elie Saab presented his couture collection during the Paris Haute Couture week fw15 just a few weeks ago. Once again theLebanese designer shows us his savoir-faire with gowns for all occasions detailed with delicate lace, appliqués, and embroidered sequins and beads.
A colorful palette of pales in pink, mauve, and teal mingled with whites, nudes and gold in beautifully shaped feminine dresses. A favorite look was a transparent embroidered pale blue | green dress paired with a golden crown on fiery red hair.
The stunning finale dress of the collection was piece designed in homage of Claudine Saab, the designer’s late wife. From the brilliant gold all over the dress to the lace embroidered veil, the sleeveless, voluminous dress brought even more lightness to a show that’s perfectly symbolized: magnificence, opulence and the beauty of women.
Saab, who fuses western and eastern culture in his designs, has once again given us a beautifully polished feminine collection of fw15 haute couture. ELIE SAAB couture fw15 commentary by Brigitte Segura, written by Lisa Setyon.
