ELIE SAAB: a Scintillating Scent
Fashion Designer Elie Saab launched Le Parfum, his first (and only) fragrance a little over a year ago. Inspired by the scents surrounding his lebanese heritage, it’s no surprise a spicy-sweet sensual Eau de Parfum emerged via perfumer Francis Kurkdjian. The exotic elixir of rich essences includes a floral range of orange blossom, jasmine, and rose that dances with warm notes of honey, cedar, and patchouli.
The ad campaign unveiling Le Parfum features the radiant Anja Rubik (model) shot by photography duo Mert & Marcus. The Eau de Parfum is available as 30, 50 and 90 ml sizes in a gorgeous Baroque style glass bottle designed by Syvie de France. The fragrance also extends into a collection that includes deodorant, body lotion, body cream and shower gel. Le Parfum and accompanying products are available at Nordstrom retail stores nationwide.
Elie Saab sometimes known simply as ‘ES’ launched his Beirut-based fashion label in 1982 when he was 18 years old. He became known as the first Lebanese designer to dress an Oscar winner (Halle Berry in 2002). He showed his first haute couture collection in Paris in July 2003 and the city soon became his permanent ready-to-wear runway after his first showing there (Spring-Summer 2006 collection).
