DL 1961 redefines denim- especially for the guys. Aimed at forming “the perfect fitting jean” since 2008, the brand is swiftly demonstrating how to make denim both durable and fashionable. For autumn winter, they transitioned their love for the classic Americana textile into leathers and gave the guys a little more color. Working the denim looks we swooned at the cute faces backstage and then on the runway, including Tobias Sorensen, Alex Cunha, Miles Garber, Lenz Johnston, Jonatan Frenk, and Cesar Casier.
Once again, they revamped tradition by having the tougher fabric available in a wider array of hues and pieces. Denim, which is found in the closets spanning all ages, has allowed the label to blur the barrier between fashion and function by creating the DLX and dlpro fabrics. DLX is molded from INSVISTA’S XFIT LYCRA, which has complete all-around movement to ensure that the denim stays as good as the first fit. While the sister fabric, dlpro uses XFIT LYCRA alongside Tencel and Lenzing Modal fibers for a sleeker shape.
