Damir Doma Spring 2014 PFW
It’s human nature to keep things simple. That was what Damir Doma wanted and achieved for his Spring 2014 collection held during Paris Fashion Week. It’s a tranquil set filled with soothing hues of white, tan, yellow, and black, with a few orange surprises here and there. The cuts are gorgeous and a particular eyelet detail appears several times on a crisp dress, top and skirt. Every single look feels polished and pristine, a really lovely assortment with modern non-frilly cuts.
Things stay relatively sleek and trim, as cuts stay to the knee and pencil skirts flatter. Tan never gets boring here. It’s a refreshing color on dresses especially. It has a very soothing effect, plus, just the right amount of jewelry dazzlers could really make it pop. Orange is a color that’s really standing out for spring. It looks gorgeous on long shorts and a pretty sleeves top. It even works as the straps of a skirt and top combo. Plenty of looks have a mod vibe going on, the trim silhouettes especially.
The black looks are the perfect combo of work and play attire. Have no time to change after a long day? Then have no fear! One of these looks would be perfect to wear during Happy Hour, too. Wonderful! fdmLOVES DAMIR DOMA Spring 2014 selects by Brigitte Segura, written by Allison Ripa.
