CHANEL AIRLINES is Karl’s theme du jour, equipped with its airport under the glass roof of the Grand Palais during PFW. Lagerfeld takes us on “a flight of visual turbulence” through strong, graphic prints and refined + textured fabrications. The usual luminous bits appear with a bouquet of embroideries.

A variation of silhouettes in fluid chiffons, skirts overlapping trousers, and futuristic shoes mixing metalized plastic and soles dotted with LEDs. The Chanel girl is modern, young and energetic – sporting big blue sunnies often and a backwards cap pulling Chanel suitcases. Cara Delevingne, Lily Rose Depp, and Kendall Jenner are in the mix.
