catching up: 2013 FIT Gala Honorees

2013 FIT Gala Our Editor in Chief Brigitte Segura was recently catching up at a cocktail reception alongside some of the Fashion’s power players. An intimate hundred or so guests came together the home of Fashion Institute of Technology’s Board Chair Liz Peek. The event was in celebration of the 2013 FIT Gala’s Honorees George Kaufman, Kay Krill and Stefano Tonchi, who will be officially honored June 10, 2013 at Cipriani 42nd Street.

Hosted by Pamela Baxter, Joy Herfel Cronin, Julie Greiner, Yaz Hernandez, Jane Hudis, and Liz Peek – the neatly intimate event allowed for friendly conversation and professional mingling. Special guests Stefano Tonchi Editor-in-Chief of W Magazine, and Catherine Fisher VP Corporate Communications at Ann Inc. attended the reception, as did a host of fashion notables. Designers on the guest list: Duckie Brown’s Daniel Silver & Steven Cox, Yigal Azrouel, Dennis Basso, Angel Sanchez, Maria Cornejo, and Jill Stuart. Also of note, Mr. Hamish Bowles, International Editor at Large for Vogue, came out in support, as did other recognized names including: Teri Agins, Mario Buatta, Judy Byrd, Veronica Webb, Amy Fine Collins, Carole Divet Harting, and Elizabeth and Albert Watson.
