CATCHING UP: We recently joined friends in support of good at the 19th Annual Hamptons Happening and SWCRF fundraiser for good “Step Up To Turn Off Cancer” fundraiser event. Hosted by Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation the fundraising season season kicked off with the two vital SWCRF fundraisers at Versa New York City a few days ago.

These fundraising events have allowed SWCRF to invest more than $100 million towards collaborative cancer research programs, supporting hundreds of investigators around the world. SWCRF-funded scientists have made many breakthrough discoveries in the fight against cancer. Event Honorees for 2023 include Chef Ralph Scamardella, EVP & Chief Culinary Officer, TAO Group, , Co-Founders, Scott’s Protein Balls, Denise Albert, CEO and Co-Founder, My Cancer Family, Anna Zuckerman, Founder, Chief Designer Anna Zuckerman Luxury.

This year’s fabulous Hamptons Happenings, one of the anticipated events on the Hamptons summer schedule will be held on Saturday, July 8th, 2023, at the Bridgehampton Estate of Kenneth and Maria Fishel. A night of food tastings from dozens of chefs, restaurants, and beverage companies all while raising critical funds for cancer research. HamptonsHappeningsinfo.

The “Step Up To Turn Cancer Off” virtual fundraising event where participants keep track of their physical activities in order to reach their daily “step” goal.  An easy-to-use online tool will convert just about any activity such as walking, running swimming, dancing, yoga, gardening etc. into steps. Participants can register individually or as a team and then share progress with peers and family to garner donations. The week-long challenge runs from June 19th through 26th, 2023.
