Bosideng Menswear Fall 2014 NYFW
Ah, the sweet feeling of good looking menswear. The Bosideng Fall 2014 collection, shown during NYFW, was a standout. Inspired by the film ‘In the Mood for Love,’ designer Amelia Pretious’ guys are moviestar studs. There’s a nice mixture of casual and work attire, with several looks featuring illustrations by artist Chang Jinchao. Bonafide heartthrobs? We think so. Our editor [Brigitte] caught up with model Guerrino Santulliana before the show and said a ‘hello’ to Francisco Lachowski.
In this colorful assortment, blues and pops of yellow make a lasting imprint. Gray suits are tailored masterpieces and given a playful twist with graphic sweaters underneath. Outerwear is wonderful, especially those fuzzy hooded gems. A sheepskin leather parka is quite extraordinary. That can be paired up or down, however this fella likes. Trousers are cut perfectly for the guys…they look comfortable and handsome. We also love the varied colors! Finally, guys don’t have to choose the standards without looking cartoonish. A set for young men, not boys.
The footwear also needs to be mentioned here. Leather tie boots have us melting. Flawless. fdmLOVES BOSIDENG Fall 2014 selects + edits by Brigitte Segura, written by Allison Ripa.
