BISTRO SUMMERS with Pierre Loti in the city

Catching up: While the summer heat is on in the city, there’s nothing like having a little pink cheers, n’est-ce pas? As most of us locals are in the city, we tend to gravitate towards our favorite spot in the neighborhood – and when we’re lucky, it’s actually a cute little bistro like my fave, Pierre Loti in chelsea. Nice girl-friendly bites, and a range of wine to satisfy my pink loving Rose year-round mood.

I like this spot so much that not only is it a frequent date night spot, I recently had our team dinner there for NYFW: M where we were tucked away from all the fashion drama, and just got into a good vibes mediterranean groove.

I love their olives (black and very wrinkled) that come served with some wonderful pita bread that’s warm to start, that you can get right at the bar. After that, the variety pack of Mezzas include hummus, labni, and some awesome veggies that fit my flavor of vegetarian that is not diet- friendly, thanks.

The bar is inviting and in a U shape, and the lights are dim enough to feel right in the mood to hide out from the crowd or have a romantic rendez-vous. In fact, I think it’s the local to have a date night or first date, without the pressure of having to get a table to see who was indeed at the other end of the APP. :).

And if you feel like socializing, the cozy and friendly staff and owners makes you feel right at home. So much that sometimes you get to meet other locals that favor the spot and get an intro from the team -making it always a pleasure to have a little bite and cheers.
